A LITTLE TRAVEL STORY(:

Victoria’s family decided to go on a trip to a nearby lagoon to spend time together. It was a sunny day, so it was a perfect day to spend with the family. However, Victoria didn't want to go on the trip because she had a lot of university stress that week.  She just wanted to sleep all day. Although her family told her they wouldn't go without her. She had no choice but to go. They got up early and headed to their destination.

The road was painfully long for Victoria. Especially since she doesn't like waking up early for a trip she didn't want to go on She put on her hearing aids trying to ignore the conversation her parents were having. Out the window, she noticed lots of trees, houses and cows. She tried not to be in a bad mood so her parents wouldn't scold her. As she watched the road through the window, she fell asleep as did her sister and cousins. She woke up when the sunlight hit her face. She realized that they were almost to the lagoon her family wanted to visit.

The truth is that Victoria is not a sourpuss, but her family ruined her plans to sleep all weekend. Therefore, it was only fair for her to keep a straight face the whole trip. When they finally arrived, she decided to go somewhere quiet where she could listen to music or read alone. She got out of the car with the purpose of looking for the perfect place. As soon as she was heading to a bench, her little sister shouted "A boat". She looked back to the dock, where it said people could rent a boat and sail on the lagoon. Her parents decided they would rent one. Victoria tried to run away from the boat. However, her cousins and sister were very insistent that she had to agree.

They rented a boat and went out to sail in the lagoon. While her family was excited, Victoria just wanted to get out of there. If she could jump into the lagoon she would definitely do it. Her parents told her not to be angry. Which obviously irritated Victoria even more. As the minutes passed, Victoria began to enjoy the scenery of the lagoon. Suddenly when she finally began to feel more relaxed, she felt something wet on her foot. The boat had a hole in it and water was starting to enter it. As Victoria told her parents, the drama began. "We're going to drown," said her cousin Emily. "Like on the Titanic?" asked her sister. "Yes, but on the Titanic there were life boats, not here" said her other cousin Mishell. "Oh my god we're going to die," exclaimed Emily again. "We're not going to die silly" said her sister "I hope so". "We are going to drown, look at the water" said Mishell almost in tears. "Girls please calm down already" tried to intervene their mother. Although they continued to argue. Victoria and her parents watched the little girls' conversation with some amusement. The hole wasn't very big, so they decided to go back to the dock. As they returned the girls were still arguing about who would survive if the boat sank. Victoria found this amusing and began to record the argument. Until Emily pulled Mishell's hair, at which point her parents intervened. While Victoria laughed loudly at the girls' attitude.

After arriving back at the dock, his parents went to complain about the poor quality of the boat. Victoria watched the little girls on one of the benches while they waited. She and her sister watched as their cousins were still arguing about the boat. But she didn't pay attention to them anymore. She had already recorded them, so she could bother them with it the next day. The sun had started to set; Victoria was watching a beautiful sunset on the lagoon. She thought it really hadn't been bad to go on the trip. After all, she had a good time together with her family. A few minutes later her parents arrived, and offered to go for some ice cream before heading home.
